Two Generations of Dental Care
Patients in Los Angeles and Downey can receive care from a father-daughter dental team that combines decades of clinical experience with a modern approach to diagnosis and treatment planning. Dr. Won Jung Jeong and Dr. Debora Jeong work together to provide general, restorative, cosmetic, surgical and implant-related care while helping patients understand their options.
Both dentists provide crowns, bridges, implant restorations, root canal treatment, extractions, dentures, clear aligners and treatment for TMJ-related concerns. Their shared approach allows patients to receive coordinated care for routine needs, complex treatment and second opinions in one practice.
Won Jung Jeong, DDS
Dr. Won Jung Jeong has practiced dentistry since 1993 and opened Mission Dental Group in 2007. His experience spans restorative dentistry, dental implants, root canal treatment, oral surgery, orthodontics, dentures and full-mouth rehabilitation.
Advanced Dental Training
Dr. Jeong completed an orthodontics master’s program at Chosun University in 1994 and an implantology certificate program through UCLA in 2003. He has completed approximately 1,000 hours of continuing education, including focused training in dental implants, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics and oral surgery.
Extensive Clinical Experience
Throughout his career, Dr. Jeong has completed approximately 20,000 restorative cases, 8,000 dental crowns, 5,000 root canals and 10,000 tooth extractions, including approximately 3,000 wisdom tooth extractions. His implant experience includes approximately 1,000 implants placed, 1,000 implant restorations and 100 implant-supported denture cases.
Dr. Jeong also has extensive experience with dental bridges, dentures, partial dentures, clear aligners, veneers, bonding, periodontal therapy and appliances for TMJ-related concerns.
Implant and Complex Restorative Care
Dr. Jeong provides both dental implant placement and restoration. He also performs sinus lifts, surgical extractions, wisdom tooth extractions, molar root canals, overdentures and full-mouth reconstruction. Patients frequently visit him for second opinions, extensive treatment needs and the correction of previous dental work.
He uses CBCT imaging, digital impressions, intraoral scanners and AI-assisted visualization to support diagnosis, treatment planning and patient education. Dr. Jeong is a member of the American Dental Association and California Dental Association.
Debora Jeong, DDS
Dr. Debora Jeong began practicing dentistry in 2023 and joined Mission Dental Group that same year. She provides general, restorative, cosmetic and surgical dental care with a focus on clear communication, patient comfort and personalized treatment planning.
Restorative and Surgical Experience
Dr. Debora Jeong has completed approximately 2,000 to 3,000 restorative cases, including hundreds of dental crowns, bridges, root canals, dentures and partial dentures. Her surgical experience includes approximately 1,000 tooth extractions, including approximately 300 wisdom tooth extractions.
She also provides dental bonding, implant restoration, periodontal therapy, clear aligner treatment and appliances for TMJ-related concerns. While Dr. Won Jung Jeong performs implant placement, both dentists provide implant restorations and ongoing restorative care.
Continuing Education and Technology
Dr. Debora Jeong has completed approximately 200 hours of continuing education, with a strong emphasis on restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She also has additional education in clear aligners, endodontics, oral surgery, periodontal care and occlusion.
She uses CBCT imaging, digital impressions, intraoral scanners and AI-assisted visualization to evaluate oral health, plan treatment and help patients better understand their options. Dr. Debora Jeong is a member of the American Dental Association and California Dental Association.
